Self-Assessment

The Sustainability Self-Assessment Tool

This tool is designed to be used by organizations that implement WASH services and interventions. It focuses on the organizations’ internal policies and practices; it is NOT designed to assess sustainability at the level of individual projects. Organizations can use the tool at the local, regional, country or headquarters level.

Self Assessment Tool for Sustainability

  • Log in to get started
  • Your answers are saved automatically when you move from screen to screen.
  • Scores should reflect the stage at which the organization currently meets the criteria. A score of 0 indicates no action or progress toward achieving the practices; a score of 100 indicates the organization uses all best practices.
  • Use the explanation boxes! These notes will provide a useful record of why you chose a particular score and can help foster internal discussions.
